• Squads 18 (12 Indians + 6 Overseas) • First 11 (Min 6 Indians + 1 Asso + 4 Full member overseas)

A five-team Women’s IPL is set to launch in March 2023, straight after the T20 Women’s World Cup

Breaking-  The Women's IPL is set to be held in 2023 after BCCI gave it a green signal during the AGM held in Mumbai

The first edition of the Women’s IPL will be held in March 2023, before the men’s IPL begins.

According to a BCCI note accessed by PTI, the tournament will feature 20 league games with teams to play each other twice.

BCCI is considering a proposal to have 5 overseas players in the starting XI - 4 from Member Nations and 1 from Associate Nation
